Runway Position
How would runway positions for takeoff be assigned? I guess parallel operation would mean touchdown at a 9 o'clock position and takeoffs would be at 3 o'clock position simultaneously!
Most likely such a system would only work if it was fully automated under the supervision of very capable computers since it boggles the mind to think how traffic patterns, takeoffs and landings could be regulated by human ATC personnel and complied with by the average human pilot.
